Loving Others vs. Hating Myself.
Is it any surprise, that you feel so overrun?
When all this time you had no one, to tell you how to love.
Everyone leaves.
My generation was going to
- Stop war
- Feed the hungry
- Help the poor
- Form meaningful relationships
- Help strangers
- Eliminate the word ‘strangers’
- Create art
- Become educated
- End oppression
- Fall in love
- Fix The World
What happened?
I’ve cut off myself from everybody
Else.
Two years ago today, I was too much of a coward to watch you die. I’m sorry. Rest in peace.
It always gets really hard, this time of year.
Y’know why I like animals? They won’t screw you over.
Is to be in the road, and to have a reason to come home.
It’s a safe bet that I’ll be getting some work done sometime soon.
I’ll probably save up for the big things I’ve got in mind as well.
How come no one will play with me? :/
Nap time, I suppose.
come in packs.
Your suburban life with your SUVs, manicures, shopping days, your kids and their private schools, your stagnant routines, and your veiled lives…
Give me adventure, good food, art, travel.
So in regards to your security, keep it. I want no part of it.
are a complex, yet stupid animal.
People always seek approval and attention from one another.
I think it’s funny that, even though we seek these things, we refuse to just outright say what we want most of the time. To me, that seems the best way to convey exactly what you want.
So, we proudly, drunkenly, awkwardly, begrudgingly, foolishly, laughably, warmly, coldly, stupidly, unknowingly, willingly, stumble.
Stumbling is good. Guarding yourself and following all of these stupid, ridiculous norms and rules that ‘society’ bolsters as correct is foolish.
Do something silly, unprecedented, awkward. Do something that your heart of hearts wants you to do. Do it in your youth. When you pass, will you be satisfied, or have unanswered questions?
I’m guilty as well.
